Our Projects

Solving Real-World Problems

Developing space technologies should be done with an eye towards improving the lives of people on earth. CSMC is dedicated to creating technologies that benefit remote communities on earth and set the stage for space exploration. We have identified 3 pillars for development.

Energy

Sustainably generating energy is a challenge that needs to be addressed to support Earth’s remote communities and our future presence in space.
LEUNR is a micro nuclear reactor developed by CSMC, designed with a compact form factor for rapid deployment in remote areas. Engineered for uncompromising safety and efficiency, LEUNR provides reliable energy solutions to areas with limited access to clean power sources, helping to bridge energy gaps. LEUNR can be delivered as the first nuclear reactor on the moon, at a fraction of the cost of competitors, enabling lunar night survivability for supporting infrastructure.

Resource Technologies

Extracting resources efficiently while remaining conscious of the environmental impacts is critical for sustainable resource usage on earth and in space. CSMC is invested in the following projects to achieve resource independence.

As humans begin colonizing space, we’re going to need water. CSMC is developing ways to find and extract water as efficiently as possible. QASM uses quantumn technology and AI to map underground water resources.

Access to water for drinking and fuel is key to sustainability on earth and in space. HydroPlus is aimed at developing ground-breaking technologies for water extraction in difficult terrain.

Clean potable water is necessary for life and chemical production. Life on earth and abroad would not be possible without. Lunapure is our solution to water purification with limited resources.

Healthcare

A community’s productivity depends on a healthy population. this is true on earth, and will be true for future colonies in space. Finding solutions in healthcare for communities with limited resources is critical for space exploration.

To battle health inequity across the globe, CSMC has developed TIMS – a new generation of high-resolution imaging equipment, designed to run on minimal power and to be carried in a backpack. Unlike MRI, CT, PET scans, and X-ray machines, TIMS can be put into the hands of healthcare providers without the need for large or expensive infrastructure. With TIMS we can deliver essential imaging capabilities; ensuring more people can benefit from critical diagnostic tools wherever and whenever it is needed most.
C3

The Connected Care Capsule (C3) is designed to provide professional healthcare to remote communities. It’s 40-foot container housing all the medical equipment needed to care for people at the farthest stretches of our existence, combined with the necessary infrastructure for remote training and support.
